Whether it’s been part of my day job, items on my Etsy shop, or ideas for family and friends, designing merch has been one of my favorite aspects of graphic design for years.
Destination Imagination & Global Finals
Over the past decade at Destination Imagination, I’ve been coming up with designs for all types of merchandise, including apparel, drinkware, enamel pins, and more. Starting in 2016, I was given the opportunity to oversee the souvenir sales store for our annual event, Global Finals. The store grossed upwards of 300K in 4 days each year. I not only selected and designed all of our merchandise, but also oversaw all store operations including a crew of up to 30 employees, volunteers, and temp staff.
Etsy & Vending
In 2017 I started getting a lot of requests for custom tee shirts, so I decided to open an Etsy shop. This led me to add my custom song lyric and wedding portrait prints as well. Since then, my Etsy shop has received 54K views and over 2000 sales. I’ve also vended at numerous local events including Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market.
